A photograph is as much a visual frame
as it is a time frame.
Photography—literally “light painting”—
is also a form of chronography,
“time writing.”
These two aspects, united,
form the aesthetic signature of this site.

Wolfgang Fleck has been
photographing nature, architecture, objects,
and the stories people carry—
purely as a passionate amateur.
After years of analogue photography,
he moved to digital in 2005.
The tools changed —
the approach did not.

“It’s nothing but a matter of seeing,
thinking, and interest.
That’s what makes a good photograph.”

Andreas Feininger
